Terms and conditions

Milo Moje doo Drvenik provides accommodation and related services in accordance with the information available on our website / advertisements / brochures. Unless otherwise stated, the total amount includes bed, bed linen, water, electricity and bathroom towels (not beach towels), and air conditioning (where available). To confirm the reservation, a deposit is required, as stated on page 1 of this document. Milo Moje doo will confirm the reservation after the deposit is recorded in our account. After receiving the deposit, the Client will receive a Confirmation/Voucher from Milo Moje doo by e-mail confirming the payment. The Client is obliged to print this confirmation and present it upon arrival. Unless otherwise stated in the Accommodation Agreement, the final payment is made upon arrival at the reserved accommodation. In the event of a later cancellation of a confirmed reservation, Milo Moje doo reserves the right to retain the deposit to cover the costs associated with the reservation, as stated under “Client’s Right to Changes and Cancellation”.


CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette 79/09), Article 8, paragraph 1, and the amendment to the Act on Amendments to the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette 89/90), Article 5, paragraph 2, written complaints can be submitted to the landlord’s address or via e-mail: milomojekampmail.com .


STANDARD DESCRIPTION

The accommodation facilities listed on the website / advertisements / brochure of Milo Moje d.o.o. are described according to the official assessment of the competent local tourist authorities of Croatia and the owners of the accommodation. Milo Moje doo inspected accommodation facilities when possible.


MILO MOJE DOO RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Milo Moje doo reserves the right to change or cancel the booked accommodation in the event of force majeure or other factors that could not have been foreseen or avoided before or during the stay. In such cases, with the Client’s consent, the booked accommodation may be replaced with alternative accommodation of the same or higher category, at the same price as the original reservation. If the only available accommodation is of a higher category, and its price exceeds the price of the original reservation by 10% or more, Milo Moje doo reserves the right to charge the difference with the Client’s prior consent. If alternative accommodation is not available, Milo Moje doo reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The Client will be notified of such cancellation no later than 7 days before arrival, and Milo Moje doo will in such case refund the Client the full advance payment.


CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

  • Possess valid travel documents.
  • Check whether a visa is required to enter the Republic of Croatia for yourself and other members of your group.
  • Comply with customs regulations related to the import and export of currencies according to the current laws of the Republic of Croatia.
  • Adhere to the house rules in accommodation facilities and accept the host’s suggestions given in good faith.
  • Present the confirmation of the paid reservation (Voucher received by email) to the agent or accommodation owner.
  • Do not accommodate other guests in the accommodation other than those specified in the reservation.
  • Clean the accommodation before leaving (take out the trash, wash the dishes, empty the refrigerator).
  • By accepting the reservation, the Client undertakes to report and compensate for any damage incurred to the accommodation facility (including furniture and kitchen utensils) during the stay.

LUGGAGE

Milo Moje doo is not responsible for destroyed, lost or damaged luggage, nor for the theft of luggage or valuables from the accommodation unit. We recommend renting a safe (if available) or taking out travel insurance that covers theft. Lost or stolen luggage must be reported to the owner of the accommodation or to the nearest local police station.


TRAVEL INSURANCE

The price of accommodation booked through Milo Moje doo does not include any type of insurance. If the Client wishes to have insurance, he must arrange it directly with a private insurance company.


RESIDENCE TAX

According to the Law on Tourist Tax of the Republic of Croatia, visitors are required to pay a tourist tax along with their accommodation. The standard rate is around €1 per person per day for adults (18+). Young people aged 12 to 17 receive a 50% discount, while children aged 0 to 11 are exempt from paying the tourist tax in most cases. The total amount of the tourist tax depends on the destination and length of stay and may vary due to exchange rate changes and local regulations.


IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Unless otherwise stated, check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM .
  • If the Client needs to check-in or check-out outside of these times, or is late in arriving, he/she must notify the accommodation owner or Milo Moje doo.
  • If the Client is more than 24 hours late without notice, the Contract is deemed to be cancelled.
  • The client is responsible for returning the accommodation in the condition in which he received it, except for final cleaning.
  • Milo Moje doo does not own the accommodation facilities and is not responsible for any disagreements between the landlord and the Client.

CUSTOMER’S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

  • The client has the right to change or cancel the reservation in writing (by e-mail or fax).
  • If changing the reservation is not possible and the Client decides to cancel the reservation, the following rules apply:
    • For cancellations within 42 days before arrival , Milo Moje doo retains the advance payment as a reimbursement for administrative costs.
    • For cancellations 42 or more days before arrival , Milo Moje doo will refund the full amount of the advance payment to the Client’s bank account.

By confirming the reservation and paying the advance, the Client irrevocably confirms that he understands and accepts the above conditions.


COMPETENCE

In the event of a dispute, the contracting parties will try to reach an amicable solution. If the dispute is not resolved by agreement, the court in Makarska shall have jurisdiction under the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
